EXTRA INFO

Simona first became captivated by photogrpahy as a teeenager in her native Italy. But during a years-long whirlwind of trans-Atlantic moves and raising children, Simona's photography had taken a back seat to her family obligations.

That all changed few years ago when Simona, who is 43 and now lives in Roland Park, decided it was time to take her much-loved camera out of its box and as she puts it, "make something out of my passion" and as a "professional photographer " I had to totally reinvent myself," she said.
Simona considers photography the perfect visual art...she explained..."an image is captured in a moment, in the blink of an eye, and what is left is what I see, feel or perceive."

Her photography is all about people, either documenting a wedding, a portrat session or just running around the world trying to catch that perfect moment to freeze.
"People are so interesting .... it is human nature to open up even if for just few seconds and let our deepest self out....and that is what I try to capture."

Simona images are spontaneous, unposed, natural and mostly taken in natural light.
She had been featured on Style (2010), Washingtonian Bride and Groom special edition (2010) and Flash Magazine (2011).

A great pictures is one that captures you and that communicates with you...a great picture is magic.
